I get that, but to clarify my point is that the people who I'm calling idiots don't recognize layer N's as appropriate scaling solutions. You and I agree but what I would really like to hear from the UTXO self-sovereignty maximalists how they intend to get the world on layer 1 without a hypothetical fork instead of shaming people for using lightning or, e.g., custodial solutions. I think everyone should self custody if they can, while they can, but there's a cohort of people that shit on people who don't ask if everyone can which is idiotic.
