Twatter has become such a part of my normal routine. I did March off twitter last spring and I wish I would have never come back to twitter. Now with the elections season coming up, it’s going to be a complete cesspool! I am slowly training myself to not immediately go to that shitty app when I need interaction.
But it wasn’t a total loss.
I did learn a lot from the plebs on twitter. I hope to continue the learning on nostr while I sail the seven seas.

I did delete Twitter from my main phone, and basically never post there since beginning of 2023. I can't describe how lucky I feel to not be more used to go there and instead I open Nostr. My life changed.
Twitter has still some many people that gives value, but their voice is overwhelmed by noise thst I don't have time to filter. Here is just better.
I did see that, last March, nostr gives you more time.
Right now, I’m in a hotel waiting for spring until I can get my ship back on the water and then I’ll have enough IRL stimulation to keep myself off socials almost 100%. But there will be pics and vids that I want to share and lots of people want to see. Nostr will be where I share them.
Sailors tend to be a group that’s really good at living on the moment. We all love our lives and the dock at any marina is the most social place anyone can ever go. And we never talk about other people except to mention someone’s accomplishments when they’re relative to the conversation. We mostly talk about cool experiences and places we’ve been. I can’t wait. Only four more weeks!
