Well, it’s a rural area—Prices are generally lower in this area than elsewhere in France—but yes we *hope* for the right person this would be an absolute steal! It has more land than most properties one might find in this price range and most of the heavy lifting in terms of renovations (with the exception of the septic) has already been done. However it’s currently without mains power which could be a factor for some (but could easily be connected to the grid), and in order to conform to French regulations a septic (fosse septique) may need to be installed. So those are the main factors reflected in the price. Also this is the ‘paid in Bitcoin’ price 😉 If we eventually have to list with an agency there would be taxes and fees on top so list price would have to be higher.
