According to this study (DOI: /10.1002/jbio.202300521) you can reduce your blood sugar by exposing yourself to a huge amount of 670nm light. And you can get vast, vast amounts of 670nm light outside, from the sun. It makes sense to eat outside to dampen blood sugar spikes from meals.
