@Anita @Dan Gould @npub1zw2e...2aln @Paulo @Kate Pixel 8a has 7 years of support from launch and is only a small downgrade for CPU/GPU/radio support from a Pixel 8 with the same RAM as the non-Pro Pixel 8. 8th/9th gen Pixels are what we strongly recommend.

@Anita @Dan Gould @npub1zw2e...2aln @Paulo @Kate 8th/9th gen moved to 7 years of support from 5 and moved to ARMv9 from ARMv8.2. 8th gen introduced important hardware-based security features we use in GrapheneOS including memory tagging (MTE) and pointer auth (PAC).
