Fuck man. I have a very similar memory from just a few years ago. My dad was an amazing father and I miss him every day.
It was hard but Im glad I Was with him when he passed.

I don't know you as you don't know me.
But i have ever lived that, as many people here.
It is a true love moment that remind you life is a time limited experience.
And it is really important to live what we want to live here and now.
Thanks for this sharing of a very personal and true moment, you deserve all our love back. โฎ๏ธ โค๏ธ
These are special moments in life. Sad, but not just sad, there can be some kind of joy as well, I think because the walls we build around our selves are taken down, for a while anyway.
I certainly have walls built up but this is a moment in my life I want to share. Nostr is the only place Iโd post this kind of stuff about myself, the community here is full of good people. Also want to document this for myself. Thanks ๐
@Timrell - This brings tears to my eyes, friend! I lost my mom 1.5 years ago. My dad is still here and in relatively good health. I talk with him about every other day knowing that, at 74 years old, there's not much sand left in his hourglass...
I will be praying for peace and comfort for you and ?your family? while you're going through this.
Thank you. Iโm sorry for your loss. I truly believe in the power of prayer and appreciate it. I spent plenty of time visiting him over the years but Iโd give anything for more time. Iโm sure you know. The hardest part now is the pain management. Seeing someone you love suffering for extended periods of time is brutal. ๐๐๐๐ prayers for your family headed your way. ๐ซก
