So Mr "Never sell your Bitcoin" sold some bitcoin this week. Well it's His bitcoin and therefore he can do whatever he pleases with it. That said, it's always important to realise that corporate adoption of BTC by public companies means zilch if they are just creating a BTC stockpile because a time will come when they will be forced to sell, either by their board or the market. We saw this first with Elon and now with Saylor. Any corporation that isn't pricing their products/services in sats, and is treating Bitcoin as a mere "treasury asset" may protect itself from fiat inflation, but is missing on the real upside of building on solid ground, and thus the fiat ghosts will always haunt it. If Bitcoin is truly the hardest money we have, wouldn't it make sense to earn some?

A publicly listed corporation's goals and that of a solo Bitcoiner are not the same. The so called markets are controlled by the same people who prop up the evils fiat system. The question is this, do you think they would let Saylor exit their system and cause billions of capital to leave their orbit? Heck no!

Michael "Seller" Saylor is a very business-smart for-own-profit infuencer salesman. Like with any succesful salesman (scam artist) he makes very solid and convincing points in the moment that makes people conclude what he says is the only way and but their product. Elon does the same. Heck, Trump even does the same thing. And they are all not very worried about what they said or even promised yesterday when their own profits go up. Don't conect too much to these people (or god forbid: worship) because they make so much sense, they could be 100% playing you for their own profit for you to be holding the bag and they don't care afterwards that they needed to break a promise for their own profit. Keep verifying, keep hodling, don't just trust, DYOR, keep your bitcoin off exchanges and stay humble! This long term STRATEGY will make you survive what scam artists will gladly take from you because of a (very understandable) weak moment of greed.

Mic drop! That's absolutely spot on true! Like yes, Saylor did make a lot of sense when he was discussing BTC fundamentals and all, I learnt a lot from some of the pods he did. That said, I also understand that his primary priority is Strategy and his investors so at the end of the day he will always put those first above what's good for BTC, plus as a public company CEO, "mr market" is his boss and won't do anything to anger him. Incentives and self preservation rule in that arena

I liked him in discussions the most when he was still relatively humble compared to his personality today and did not yet create all this leverage he now needs to explain away and somehow make sound logical. The early talks between him and Robert Breedlove I thought had some value and enjoyed those. Philosophizing (ish) back and forth, whether it truly made much sense yet or not, to search a bit through conversation if new (posibly good) ideas could arise... Now he seems less happy or relaxed than before and even gets angry at people challenging his strategy, why his strategy would succeed where others failed (What Bitcoin Did with Danny Knowles) blaming and shaming the interviewer for half an hour for asking a question that could just be answered. I feel this is the moment AGAIN where companies start to offload the risk to the public with IPO's because they do know and see what is coming. Peak bubble (insanity) will trigger those IPO's and that is the time to be most careful, because like in the past it will AGAIN be retail investors holding the bag...

Man those early Saylor series with Breed love, Preston Pysh, Saif and even the initial sit downs he had on WBD. Those are gold and I listen to them from time to time, but anything from 2023 onwards no thanks, it became more about Strategy than BTC. That Knowles interview was a train wreck 😂 I only watched that for the drama and it was interesting to see him with his cage rattled and the trigger for that was just an honest question that any competent journo would ask. I totally agree with you on the IPO mania, whether it's AI companies or SPACS, they are all basically memecoins at this point. No strong underlying fundamentals just vibes and hopium like dot-com bubble and 08.

💯 It's either bitcoin in the trustless Bitcoin network, or a shitcoin in a trust based IOU fiat-like ponzi. Some are less bad than others, but none are equal to bitcoin. "Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks" holds a warning message in itself, and is related to why Bitcoin was created. It is not ancient history, but many people seem to have forgotten about the mission, until they get rekt and reminded again the hard way... And then it is too late, again.

Your hurry feels like greed—they are hedging and you’d do the same if responsible for that kind of business and cash flow reputation.
