I keep hearing MSI comeback. I had some really bad experiences with them. The efi loader on all of the MSI boards I used back in the early 201*s would get corrupted on the ROM somehow. I'd have to reflash the ROM chips. Every year or so they'd have similar issues. They would get past post and when the efi load routine gets executed it would trap down to an error handler shell, with an illegal instruction fault. IIRC the only thing you could do was reboot. This was when UEFI was starting to come around though.
