Currently I do not use any cryptocurrency, although I likely will at some point. That said, from what I've seen (on X, on Nostr itself and at least on one other decentralized social media, that one being blockchain-based, unlike Nostr), economical incentives in the context of microblogging seem to promote more negative behaviors than positive ones (those who attempt to maximize earning, be it in through ads or in the form of donations, end up posting things which I, subjectively, like less than those who maximize for "social" incentives, like karma or likes). For this reason, I generally prefer to avoid attaching an economical device to a microblogging account (such as is a Nostr account). My issue isn't with Bitcoin, Monero, or cryptocurrencies in general, but, rather, with money in general. That said, thank you a lot.
