I've taken to reposting my 'bookmarks' as I'm sick of losing them. At least I can then recover from my own data.
It's become slow and unreliable. Over engineered.
Private bookmarks completely stopped working for me since the v1 release. Really miss that feature working.
Yeah, I wish citrine was more intuitive and could merge backups with genuine changes, while fixing mass deletion events.
It has become my rule of thumb: back up the stuff you care about offline, out of reach of anyone else.
Or just admit this bandaids-over-ducttape situation is ultimately untenable, take all the learnings from nostr 1.0 hard fork, nostr 2.0.

Modern problems require modern solutions
I used it for a couple years, probably unmatched in feature but after a couple months on the latest version the performance really got to me. Like, couldn't scroll or switch feeds without massive lag

I wouldn't know. I bookmark things every now and then, but I don't remember when I checked them the last time...
