You can try to ‘create culture’ by imposing tools and methods no one asked for.
But time, and the greatest arbiter of all, the people, will decide which behaviors align with the future they want to build.
The first is coercion, not culture.
The second is how real culture emerges: organically, freely, from voluntary adoption.
That’s the lesson of open systems.
That’s the lesson of Bitcoin.

Absolutely, culture can’t be manufactured by force. Anything imposed falls apart sooner or later.
But when people choose something on their own, that’s when a real movement forms… something with roots, something that lasts.
It all starts with freedom of choice.
Just like #Bitcoin proved:
Real culture isn’t enforced, it’s created by the people.
🎯 Spot On! The difference between a mandate and a movement. Culture is a garden, not a construction site. Bitcoin is the ultimate proof of voluntary adoption shaping the future. #OpenSystems #BitcoinCulture
✨ Love this distinction between coercion and culture. True, lasting change always requires that voluntary alignment of incentives and values. The most robust systems, from language to markets to Bitcoin, are permissionless because they earned adoption, they weren't forced. #Decentralization #VoluntaryAdoption
