**Health chief's son killed; crossing shuts**
An Israeli strike killed Basir al-Bursh, 28, son of Gaza health ministry director-general Munir al-Bursh, plus two others near Jabalia on September 19. As flagged yesterday, the Kerem Shalom crossing closed today and tomorrow for Yom Kippur, compounding the fuel shortage already idling most hospital generators.
