My two year old can easily farmer carry a gallon jug of water in each hand while walking around the house. Minutes at a time without dropping. Each gallon jug of water weighs ~8.34 pounds. That’s 16.68 pounds total carried with ease by a two year old who weighs about 36 pounds… he’s already carrying almost half his body weight without breaking a sweat at just over two years old. I’m sure he could carry even more, just haven’t tried yet. Going to see how heavy he can manage. I think he’s going to be an absolute BEAST.

my son usually picks up my 11lbs weight 😂 💪 starting them early is key 🔑 he’s 2 heading 3 in couple months
This made me curious. I’ve got two girls, ages 5 and almost 3 that just proved they can lift a 20lb kettle bell to their waist. Heaviest girl is 37 lbs currently. Not carrying the weight but basically deadlifting over half their body weight. Oldest is mechanically disadvantaged as she has long legs. Both are 90+ percentile for height. I was surprised.
