If I ever make a protocol that has real-person identities, I would also make a first-class use case for robust anonymity.
Ideally, anonymous accounts would receive reputation, even if that reputation is delayed until after the death of the real person, perhaps plus N years (to protect their family).
This would require trustee servers that are trusted to "not open the envelope". You might run your own, or join a small federation. It's fragile but it's the only way.
