Plenty of open source is compromised. Being open source isn't a panacea. Yes, it CAN be reversed, but which ten lines in 100,000,000 lines of code introduces a vulnerability?

Ok, go use your closed source phone with known unpatched vulnerabilities then. I'll stick with open source software that maybe has bugs that haven't been found. I didn't miss the point. I just think your point is kinda dumb and shortsighted.
