4-year cycles are still pretty decent macro rhythm though - worst annual return so far after 2022 peak is -64% in 2022, so we're chilling. -9% right now ain't too shabby historically speaking.
long-term cagr since 2011 still sitting at like 140% so that negative 4yr cagr would need some serious capitulation
This is why Bitcoin did not take off for normies, they want things to happen quickly.
It almost feels like Satoshi intentionally designed Bitcoin to not "go up" every year. To humble the individual and to remove greed out of the system.
