I thought you could delete your npub, but not edit, or delete posts. Now I think of it, I am not sure how that works. So, if you no longer log on under an npub, I imagine old followers/follows still have connection to your posts, but nothing new is generated by you, so there would be less and less visibility until is sinks to the bottom of the relay pile(?)…
