Just had an interesting conversation with some distant family members. They talked about Uber being evil for using dynamic pricing, increasing prices when driving to tourist destinations or when your phone is low on battery.
They didn’t like it when I said that this behaviour opens up a great market gap for companies that offer a similar service for what could be considered a fair and transparent pricing model… I guess conservative Germans are not huge fans of free markets

Nene das muss verboten werden. Nix mit Wettbewerb da.
We need an uber-esque client on nostr for free market ride sharing.
App idea: Uber but all payments are made with Cashu, journeys are published in Nostr, and a review system based in Nostr. The driver could set a desired €/km and the user could make offers.
Obviously it'd not work:
- network effects
- the regulator of each country will punish drivers (taxi cartel)
- the mainstream don't use BTC already...
But sounds not so difficult to implement, I'd be concerned about privacy because one would be publishing its routes on Nostr 😓
