Enable ‘Neutrino mode’ in Bitcoin Core | Builder's Guide

Prepare one or multiple existing Bitcoin Core nodes to work with LND's Neutrino mode.

Then add you node to the peers list in embedded node settings

Will I have to change from bitcoin.node=bitcoind to bitcoin.node=neutrino in lnd.conf on my embedded node? Could it somehow affect the current state of the node?
