Could work, but silent payments need a trusted monitor to the best of my knowledge. Also, right now there is only one wallet with silent payments. Everybody else is alpha code, full of bugs.

That used to be the case if you outsourced transaction scanning. The 'Frigate' update fixed this (logarithmic scan speed improvement).
There are growing number of wallets with Silent Payments.

Yep, I have tested them all. They all suck. But I will implement silent payments as soon as anyone actually makes it work.
The people currently pioneering it have a roadmap, but are in 'awkward' jurisdictions and have put a call out for help. Full tech details in the podcast I linked to.
