This is a general worning. By the way. Systemd Linux (Microsoft in disguise) got called out for a long time already. You need to be ready to ditch the big players like Ubuntu/Debian and Redhat/Fedora or run forks that exclude certain permissioning. Another thing is to only buy new hardware that supports an open source BIOS like Coreboot/Libreboot.

This warning - as it states - won't affect you. It's meant for people that run stock OS and install their apps from Playstore like 95% of the people. This message is for them. Many FOSS apps are creating awareness to shift sentiment. I applaude syncthing for joining the others (e.g. f-droid) before them.

I am not simping for the Feds. I am just stating the the Feds try to disrupt communication for plebs that do not run their own mobile os. It's bad. The answer is education. That's want syncthing is doing here. Later we will also fight for open hardware but we're not there yet.
