Emerald Tablet (translation Isaac Newton) It is true without lying, certain and most true: that which is below is like that which is above and that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracle of one only thing. And as all things have been and arose from one by the mediation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation. The sun is its father, the moon its mother, the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth is its nurse. The father of all perfection in the whole world is here. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth. Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry. It ascends from the earth to the heaven and again it descends to the earth and receives the force of things superior and inferior. By this means you shall have the glory of the whole world and thereby all obscurity shall fly from you. Its force is above all force, for it vanquishes every subtle thing and penetrates every solid thing. So was the world created. From this are and do come admirable adaptations where of the means is here in this. Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world. That which I have said of the operation of the Sun is accomplished and ended.

Deu 4:14-19 KJV ¶And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it. 15. Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the Lord spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire: 16. Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17. The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, 18. The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: 19. And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. To my mind, the Emerald Tablet speaks of the workings of the one God, albeit in somewhat cryptic terms.
If the document contradicts the Gospels then it is against the Gospels and is the work of Satan who is the opposition to God. It's moral relativism and not the word of God. God never lies. There are plenty of liars in this world. We would like to think in terms of yin, yang, masculine, feminine and black and white but these are terms that are designed to label in terms of equalizing. Man is created in God's image but he is not as God. Man is by free will able to do what he wants but man is limited in his ability because he can not do what God does without the will of God. In faith and by God's will man can do anything through Jesus Christ but that is only in faith and by following the will of the Lord. --- Joh 10:9 KJV I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. --- Joh 14:6-7 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. --- 1 Cor 1:17-25 KJV For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. In no way is it as it was above. --- Gen 1:1-5 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. (https://andbible.github.io)
The Bible is the Testament of those who have had direct relationships with God. Not some sophistry for glorifying egos. Definitely not as above and so below. Jesus is absolutely clear and he absolutely did something that no man could have ever done. Definitely no alchemist. Jesus was sacrificed here on earth and he was raised from the dead as all of those who believe are. Not a mental hopscotch. The funniest thing about the practice of Christianity is that it is simple and easy. --- Mat 11:29-30 KJV Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. --- Joh 3:31 KJV He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. Joh 8:23 KJV And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. (https://andbible.github.io)

Jesus was an alchemist, in that he acquired a new body, a.k.a. transformed lead into gold. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Friend, I fully understand where you are coming from as I was there. I'm communicating to you that the source of your information needs to be questioned. I questioned the Bible for 40 years and I looked for so many alternatives because I was captured by personalities and not the truth. All I ask is that you look at your sources of information. Putting Jesus in the category of men is incorrect. He lived as a man in order to suffer as a sacrifice. No other man did this. No other man can. He rose from the dead not just for himself but that all men could do the same through him. This with the blessing of his father. The Emerald Tablet is a false prophesy and it is with poison fruit. The biblical sources are many and they are testimonies from many different sources. The alchemist texts are monolithic and they are fabrications by clever men who have been influenced by Satan. Satan is the opposition to the work of God. Satan being a creation of God and having free will rebelled against the Holy Spirit by thinking that he can do anything he wants. Instead he is a tool who will testify against those who also have been given free will and choose to be slaves of self and sin. Your alchemy text is a trap. Learn about Egypt. The land of Khem (Al-Khem) . Do you think that Moses did not possess the knowledge of the nobility? He did. He also rejected it for the greater power of the Creator. --- Mat 7:15-20 KJV ¶Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. (https://andbible.github.io) --- A simple test is this: go by yourself in a very private place and kneel to God. Askl him for the truth. Ask him to accept you and with the blood of Jesus Christ to take away your sins. He will heal you. No one need know that you have done this. God will know what is in your heart. You don't even have to believe! The action will initiate your testimony. And if you can not do this then you are relying on the greater machinations of men who are deceived. --- Here Jesus clearly states what it is to pray: Mat 6:5-8 KJV ¶And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Shared using AndBible: Bible Study. (https://andbible.github.io)
I'm going to double dip here. The creation of this world was perfect but after eating it the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge the world was transformed into a polarized event. The alchemist celebrate this but it is the event of sin and the alchemists claim to have the pathway to the tree of life. There is no life without Jesus Christ. It's not going to make logical sense. It's intuitive. All of the Bible, all 66 books, is a snapshot of personal testimony of the direct interaction with the Creator. Let's say that the external texts of the Bible at best are creative commentaries but they are not the truth. They are using pieces and parts but they are not the truth. The truth is not a neat and pretty text. The truth is full of flawed humans who by the grace of God have been given the opportunity to infinitely participate. All texts are secular that are not Biblical. The are secondary. They are also results of Babylon.
