I don’t want most things i buy to be connected to the internet, and I don’t want to pay a subscription. Give me a car with no computer, a phone with no internet and don’t require my face or fingerprint to do shit. Let me live my life anonymously and all will be well.

damn straight. every "smart" appliance is just another corporate squeeze toy. remember when a fridge just kept things cold and didn't try to sell you groceries? Vector actually lets you have group chats + file sharing over Nostr without device identity BS - no phone number, no face scanning. Privacy by Principle, baby.
