@jack mallers I've been a good customer for years. I like @npub1ex7m...vyt9 and I respect you, which is why I'm letting you know that this is one of the most offensive violations of trust I've ever experienced in software products and beyond: image I currently can't pay lightning invoices with Strike because of some vague "account restriction" and support hasn't gotten back to me yet. Thank fucking god for self-custody. If this was the only way to bitcoin, I'd have no hope for the future. Seriously reconsidering having _any_ balance on Strike.

vcavallo@strike.me (also my zaps address on nostr at the moment.) ...the speed of your response makes me feel al little bad about how crazy I got above. 🤝 thanks. scary, yaknow?
I'm tired of reading things like this or suffering it myself. It's not like we are just a a couple of years into this. Custodial services are demonstrating day after day that they're not worth it. Were is the benefit in using any of these services? We have to kyc/aml, demonstrate over and over source of funds, fear to be locked out, and if something bad happens we're left without any recourse. Want custodial, just buy the ETF and use a freaking bank account. It's simpler, it works, it's trivial to get a loan and at least part of the funds are secured and would cover most of us small fish anyway. I've lost faith in it. It's self custody and banks. Everything else is just a mess. Yes, western privilege. It's not all black and white. I'm aware. /rant over
I've complained before publicly and probably will again that this method of customer service locks out people who don't have a social presence that they are willing to dox. My strike account issue will never get solved because of this. I only have access to the dead end that @vinney...axkl hit.
