Rally up your neighbors to the nonsense and get it walked back/taken away. If this fails I'd personally look into moving into a non HOA area. Hard to do these days and there are commies even in non HOA nice areas too. We question if we are the crazy ones when we think it would be better to live on acreage away from the nonsense
