If you are a privacy-conscious person and also use Blossom, there is one thing to be aware of. If you upload an image or video, and share it in the note with the blossom URL, yet identify it as something that you don’t want to associate with due to whatever reasons (doxxing, drunk post, etc.) Yet someone decides to download it and reupload to the same Blossom server, you no longer can invalidate the URL until that other person deletes it. This is by design, and it’s a double-edged sword.
(by nostr.build) solves that problem by providing each unique user with their specific subdomain. Even free users get one. Your subdomain is fully under your control and you decide what is or isn’t linked from it. We believe in giving users as much control as technically possible over their own identity and online persona. 🫡🚀⭕️
