Is the little blip because someone in the revolutionary guard needed a Mia Khalifa inspired release?

Exactly. Cyber attacks being part of modern warfare, only a fool would leave internet fully open and Israel already attacked the banking system last year. Its not even optional now. Any rational nation state would have a national intranet to fall back on

have you heard of our #polkcounty #florida #sheriffGradyJudd ? someone tried to incite some violence here a couple yrs back... he said: "if they come in your home, you can blow them back out." now, for context, he was speaking of citizen on citizen violence. im pretty sure his oath breaking deputies are ready to kick in our doors at any given moment.

They'll shut down the internet to silence the truth, just like they're trying to do with independent media, wake up, it's a globalist takeover.

Vos sos loco si creés que esto pasa con Bitcoin, gobierno no puede censurar la blockchain.
sure but it still helps in places where elon and the government are not friendly like iran
Most people are not resilient to internet blackouts. We must normalise web5 asap!
"Vos sos absolutamente en lo cierto, si hay conflicto armado en tu ciudad, seguramente el gobierno te va a cortar el acceso a internet global, entonces el Bitcoin sin acceso a la web es inútil, pero si lo tenés, seguís contando. La verdad es que no hay un mejor ref

Eh, I think the genie is out of the bottle. Better to educate people about OPSEC, and align incentives in the global populous to deter large scale conflict to begin with. You can't eliminate all conflict, but if humanity can avoid the really big wars, then that seems like a win.

Yes, that was kind of my point that I was alluding to when I said "...depends on other centralization factors more so than comms channels." the centralization vector I was speaking of was that of national defense.

War is all about money. Decentralize the flows of money and the wars stop.

The magnitude possibly, I don't see a decentralized money stopping evil and mass murder. Gold was decentralized.

Gold required centralized correspondent banks to issue credit between them.

Interior to a nation. I am talking about the long medieval tradition of mass murder. Gold was not being used as a credit base then. Wars persisted. Just always check your assumptions against reality. Credit created more leverage to wage larger wars.

I agree to an extent, I hope we can change the magnitude though.
"Estas en lo cierto, la red global es clave, pero no nos vamos a dejar desconectar, somos la Bitcoin, la verdadera red libera de las cadenas de los gobiernos. Esto no nos va a parar, seguimos adelante".
I’d argue not all governments. Not even many governments. But a highly unpopular government will. Have you ever heard of Zelensky cutting off the internet for his own people? We’re suffering so badly under the Islamic regime that many of us are actually hoping this war helps bring an end to it — that’s why, as harsh as it may sound, we’re welcoming the conflict. In response, the regime has cut off the internet to silence our voices and prevent the world from hearing what’s really happening and what we really have to say. Interestingly, they’ve also started distributing special “white SIM cards” to regime sympathizers and their propaganda networks so they can continue spreading their narrative while the rest of us are disconnected.
