If nostr had a CEO and a board of directors, the board would agree with your KPI assessment criteria, and investors would withdraw funds to liquidate nostr and declare nostr dead.
Unfortunately, nostr is just a decentralized protocol. This loose collaboration requires you to like and use nostr. If you have a good idea that can improve KPIs, please build it. We are building it.
For decentralized protocols, slow is fast.

It may take a while …
> Nostr started out as an open protocol with new “implementation possibilities” being proposed almost on a daily basis. Its popularity grew in the first two years. However, with increasing complexity, development interest faded. It was during these “dark days” that development started to coalesce around what we now know as “Nostr core”.
Shortly after “The Great Depression of 2025” Nostr adoption began to grow, attracting users looking for “online sovereignty” away from the prying eyes of failed governments. This was a time of rapid growth, as new businesses and services sprung up to serve the growing number of sovereign identities.
Believe it or not, the Nostr we know today, the backbone of world wide social media, used to be a scrappy set of “implementation possibilities” that nobody could really make use of. Those were the days.
