I'm working on the relaunch of my website and server backend, one thing I'm wondering if someone stumbles upon my game and wants to register with Nostr but doesn't have an account. Where should I point them? https://nostr.com/ ? I don't really want them to generate the keys on my website if I can help it because I want them to be responsible for not losing their nsec. Any ideas from what others have done?

More of a wizard than nostr.how so, probably more useful for the less inquisitive. But wizards do give the more initiated the feeling of being led down the primrose path. But since you are targeting complete noobs, this might be the best way to go.

I followed the wizard an it has a few issues imo. It derives the keys for you. It mandates an email. It only suggests 5 clients at the end none of which are the most popular. I truly think starting with a key manager (amber or Nos2X) would keep the key creation more secure and as the find more clients beyond Satoshi Settlers, they will be able to take their secure keys with them.

I am REALLY not trying to obstinate but Primal's app derives your keys for you as well. The web browser version can definitely be a good jump off if they make their keys external to the PWA. This is obviously your project (which I love using by the way) I would just hope that people who find your client first could generate and manage their keys in the best way they can.
