"Holy Holy Holy" said the Seraphim Moors gate: Moors Gate, also known as Bab al-Maghāriba or the Moroccan Gate, is one of the gates of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It is the southernmost gate on the western flank of the compound and is built directly over the Herodian-period gate known as the Gate of the Prophet (Barclay's Gate). The gate was constructed around the time that the Ayyubids endowed the quarter to North Africans and Moors of Andalusia, Malikites, who were living side by side in Jerusalem. The gate is also known as the 'Gate of the Moors' due to the North African immigrants who lived in a neighborhood next to the gate in the 16th century. The Moors Gate is actually built on top of another gate from the Herodian period known as Barclay’s Gate. The gate is located along the western wall of Masjid al-Aqsa and is the only place from where non-Muslims can get access into Masjid al-Aqsa. nostr:nevent1qqsfrjt7dwjkq6fgpvymanuqqg8ayh8wf29anwu95k3ay4ym2k4py3qpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsyg9kynmdqq2s7chkn6est5ennke0lxx4eemhhzwje7l826t3wj28jypsgqqqqqqscxcfks nostr:nevent1qqsfrjt7dwjkq6fgpvymanuqqg8ayh8wf29anwu95k3ay4ym2k4py3qpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsyg9kynmdqq2s7chkn6est5ennke0lxx4eemhhzwje7l826t3wj28jypsgqqqqqqscxcfks
