A gentle reminder (first and foremost to myself): I often see many arguments on social media about rights, yet rarely do I see reminders about our responsibilities. From my short time in this world, I’ve noticed something: many of us who loudly demand our rights often neglect the very responsibilities we owe to ourselves, to others, and to those under our care. Let us focus on fulfilling our responsibilities first, because when we do, our rights will naturally follow.
