I mean in-client. The last thing I want is to be buzzed constantly while offline. Notifications are hardly useful for me as a concept if they don't work reliably within the clients I use. Currently, I see some here, and others there. And probably others nowhere. Totally unreliable and I doubt most people want an entirely separate application for something considered basic for like 2 decades at this point. And bouncing around clients is similarly irritating. I can see why we aren't attracting more people. I love Nostr (that's why I stick around and share thoughts) but we have a ton of cope.

Coping is natural. Perfect social media would probably be bad for us anyway. Existing and enjoying life naturally may be the best remedy and we can call it a feature 😆 🤣
