I agree. But I think what you’re really saying is, personal responsibility/self-sovereignty (be it money, security, food, etc) breeds strong men. There’s no nanny-state. It demands winners and losers. No FDIC, bank-bailouts, retirement entitlements, etc. When your family is hungry, you have to look at your child and own that. As a father, that’s your fault. Today, government takes on more debt and subsidizes your family. We could tell story after story, but if your time and energy is being stolen through currency debasement, most (not all) will default to relying on somebody else to provide for you and yours. This breeds soft men.
