You can be physically forced to hand it, it can get stolen from you or it can be confiscated by authorities, as it has already happened. I am honestly calmer having and hiding bitcoin from others. Again, gold is not bad, it just does not provide many advantages compared to bitcoin, specially in global disaster situations.
