How about government issued devices for children? That way we can be sure they are safe as everything will be approved and monitored by our benevolent state.

Do you mean the Chromebooks students have to use, or are you thinking we should just go straight to ankle monitors at birth?
I think we are going to have to go for the ankle monitor while we wait for the brain implants to be ready.
Unfortunately some students have been installing a different lunux distribution on their Chromebooks so that is not sufficient for our needs.
