Living soil is the way. You should not need *any* added chemical fertilizers (organic nutrients included) whatsoever if you cultivate healthy soil. ๐ฏ
Fish emulsion and seaweed/kelp extract can help to give plants a boost as a foliar feed and/or to boost soil biology initially.
Fertilizers are essentially a bandaid that deplete soils over time. Plant health should never rely on continually added amendments. High quality compost, mulch and cover crops are the key to long term fertility that actually builds year over year. Your garden should produce all fertility necessary for a healthier and more productive crops each season.

Look up Logan Labs. Send them a soil sample. They will send you back a faboulous reccomendation of all natural amendments to get your ph right and nutrients flowing.
Cover cropping in mid september with nitrogen fixing legumes, mustard greens will boost organic matter. On small beds, a high quality compost and compost teas will increase microbiology leading to more nutrient cycling.
I try and not pull out the roots of most plants too. Cutting just below ground leaves all the root mass in the soil creating structure and fungal pathways.
The deep rabbit hole is self made KNF preparations.
Some of the things you mentioned are means of chemically enhancing the soil. Everything is chemistry.
