I just learned about temporal resolution as a concept a few weeks ago. Its basically just how fast an organism updates its perception of the world around it. Refresh rate. It's different for all animals but it does roughly follow size. Applying this to tempo in music has been an interesting thought expirement Have you enjoyed slower music as you've gotten older?
