The Israeli government is in a race against the clock. Historicaly #israel goes to election when the Knesset disbands itself before the election date. When this happens the government is limited in what it can do, as it doesn't have the consents of the Knesset. Or better put, the supreme court put these restrictions and it upholds them very strictly when it comes to a right leaning government. Less so with a Left leaning government. Currently unelected officials are blocking many of the governments policies. The courts are blocking the government from firing these unelected officials. But the courts can't block them forever. Eventually they will have to let the firing happen. The question is what will come first. Will the Knesset disband itself and then the courts can further delay the firing till after the elections. Or will the government manage to fire these people. This is how a judicial autocracy looks like. Your vote means nothing #democracy
