point is distributing it, making it able to move host with no friction, 1 relay goes no issue 10 or 100 relays the same, restore everyones content from backups, this i what nostr is, it is the promise of the real web

So data for nostr is not that intensive on the server in terms of storage size . However, Git data is very large and may consume even more bandwidth. Nostr has no way to check that data is in sync across relays so you will have issues making sure your commits are consistent across relays. This will take a lot of engineering effort
