Do you self host stuff already or will this be your first instance?

I have bitcoin nodes. I don’t have my own server right now but that is something I want to get set back up. I used to host my own server for business back in the early 2000s Running Microsoft but had an issue and shut that down when to cloud servers in 2011. I would like to run something on Linux or anything other than Microsoft. Thanks for talking to me!

I'm biased so I would like to suggest TrueNAS to everything, but unless you have storage needs as well you might want to explore Start9.

I want to have massive storage. lol. I’m very ignorant of OS and what’s out there. I looked at start9 at a conference. I really just don’t know how to jump in or where. I have never even hear of TrueNAS lol. I want to learn and educate myself as well. I’m winding down one of my businesses now and won’t replace the time expenditure with more work, instead with more learning and doing things that interest me. I’m about to reclaim about 15 to 29 hours a week of my life. I’m very excited. What is TrueNAS and why do you like it?

Gm☕😊. I'm not too techie, so went the start9 route. I have my node up and running, plus start9 comes with lots of other apps that you can use. I also use it to connect my Bitaxe miner.
