i have been very consistent, you should run what you want
just know that it can absolutely result in a chainsplit if you run a client that pushes through a soft fork without consensus

A non consensus soft fork happens, and I choose to run v29 because core shoved it down people’s throats. I have to stay on 29 yo dissent as more and more nodes adopt v30,31,32. Eventually 29 is not supported. What the hell do I do then?
