U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced this morning that, under the direction of President Donald J. Trump, strikes were conducted Sunday against two suspected narco-trafficking vessels in the Eastern Pacific. According to Hegseth, six suspected drug traffickers—three on each vessel—were killed in the strikes. Intelligence reports indicated that the boats were linked to narcotics smuggling operations, were carrying illegal drugs, and were traveling along a known trafficking route in the Eastern Pacific.
