There's one thing AI will never be able to do - it cannot produce something that has not been produced by AI i.e. something made by human hands with care and attention.
All it takes to make AI largely irrelevant is for people to express their preference on the free market for goods and services produced by their fellow humans. Handmade shoes & clothes, black smithed tools, etc. Learn a skill and support other humans. Nothing could be simpler.
