in France you're now supposed to make a declaration if you enter or get out of the country with €10k+ of bearer instruments. They include hardware wallets but recognize themselves they can't do shit about someone memorizing 12 specific words in the correct order 🀑

It’s not just France many countries have such limits and it is well explained in airports and custom declaration forms. A hardware wallet does not contains money, it contains a private key. This could easily be dismissed in court by comparing it to knowing the password to your bank app on your phone IMO. So fuck them 😊.
