Met the first free-thinking leftist I’ve met in a very long time tonight. They do exist, and they do see most of the same problems, but they just can’t see any solutions other than collective action.
You can’t conceive of a free choice, opt-in, rules-without-rulers paradigm until you’ve discovered it yourself.

How can a free thinker exist without believing in free markets?
They have no experience with a surplus of capital, and no experience with genuine free markets, only manipulated markets labeled “free”
The cage bird doesn’t know what a cage is, kind of thing
I’ve never seen a free market either but I know what it looks like theoretically.
Well you’ve seen bitcoin, that’s a truly free market. You may have believed in them before you saw Bitcoin, but not everyone can believe things they’ve never seen.
I pay capital gains on Bitcoin. How is that free?
🤣
Don’t confuse your local tyranny of taxation with the underlying thing itself which is global and free

I didn’t say you are free, I said Bitcoin (a global, uncensorable, unstoppable energy-for-record-keeping market) is free
Collective action is great as long as it is Christ that is the central figure. Otherwise it is a secular fantasy based on the whiles of Fiat morality.
