On one side, I totally feel that every other day. Like, too, in my professional environment, interesting and inspiring professions and ways of being creative and active essentially being wrecked and devalued by stochastic parrots, while at the same time professions or jobs that are manual, essential labour in most cases not even remotely help paying a living, let alone fulfilling everyday life. And yet on the other side, all things considered, sometimes I'm feeling bad for still having to feel humble for being in this kind of "normality" in which being able to follow up on such considerations is something I'm able to dedicate time to, without being disrupted by daily life even more. It seems ... like a situation, a state ot things where we're completely devoid of any positive, bright outlook of whichever way and the best to end up with is knowing things could be /way/ worse and being grateful that they aren't, at least for now. It's depressing. In many different ways and I don't know where to start both in terms of muttering and in terms of changing things. 😔
