A crucial piece of this mindset that I know a lot of people need to hear: Your family may not always be in the former camp (energy-increasing), but the latter (energy-sucking). If you're on a higher wavelength than your family members, and they aren't supporting your mission, you have to draw some uncomfortable lines to protect your energy. In the most extreme cases, you may have to make a hard split from them. But most of the time, you'll just have to erect some mental barriers that will shield your core drive from when they—intentionally or unintentionally—push negative energy in your direction that would, if you let it, detract from your optimal potential. It will always be uncomfortable to cut family out from the deeper levels of your consciousness, especially if you once let them into that level, before the "split" where you ascended spiritually and they stayed the same. But oftentimes you will have to make this hard choice - especially if you're on an intense truth-seeking mission like so many of us are. You chose this hard path, and one of the downsides that came with the gig is that *most* of the people you once called close, will melt away, sometimes attacking you on their way out the door. This is an unavoidable part of the game we play. Keep your eye on the prize, as the hard path will ultimately bring you to a far more beautiful reward than the easy one. It WILL all pay off. In conclusion, always put yourself first. Selfishness in the face of energy-detractors is a virtue, no matter what form they come, even close friends or family. nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqwq5ltx9w8sxxyw0agghvzjwevlj3422ms2wdcqaq94g9xr0u9fmqqsv6vg92zrglqsh5mqk89fpmylprg72jls8cnyjue76z73cd744xhslkytl4
