Not my decision any more. But it would be good for them to. And of nostr. As much conversation as possible. Good for all.
What did you mean “And of nostr.”?
Did you mean nostr should become a BlueSky client? How would that work?
Twitter should become a nostr client
Could think of Twitter as one huge relay, imagine wss://relay.twitter.com
Indeed ⚡️⚡️😂
#[4] Why BlueSky when you have Nostr?
They can coexist ⚡️⚡️
Competition is good. Bluesky is purely focused on social. nostr much broader. And I imagine they will integrate in some way down the line. More ideas in this space the better.
Probably. Will be good usable ideas in both that help move everything forward in a better direction.
Client should be out soon.
People want a lot of things from a Twitter-like social network - popular/viral post surfacing, moderation tools (of what form depends a ton on who you ask, not everyone wants *something* to at least block assholes and CP), etc. nostr grew organically and quickly and lacks designs for these things. Bluesky considered how to do them in a decentralized and user-owned way from day one.
Yeah, some devs don’t want to add reactions because they themselves don’t like them. It’s not about what devs like or don’t like. It’s about what people want IMO
none. Before I left we funded them as a completely independent org.
5-10 is good 👍
Why
I don't want them merging with us, a lot of em are annoying not gonna lie.
North Korea should become a constitutional democracy too.
