Beyond Labels: Speaking from a Spiritual Heart
I often find myself speaking about deep things — the kind of conversations that touch the soul rather than just the surface. I draw from many wells: the poetry of Sufism, the wisdom of Christian mystics, and the echoes of countless other spiritual traditions. Because of this, people sometimes assume I belong to a particular religion. Some think I’m Muslim because I reference Sufi teachings; others think I’m Christian because I speak about mystics.
The truth is simpler: I am not, nor have I ever been, religious.
What resonates with me is not doctrine but depth — not institutions, but insight. I’m drawn to the universal wisdom that flows through all traditions, the kind that speaks to the human experience beyond boundaries and beliefs. My path is one of openness: to truth, to mystery, and to the shared spiritual longing that connects all of us.
