@ODELL around 39:45 you suggest taking a look at Canaan since it was a better value, but they appear to be asking for KYC. I didn't learn that until after I paid them for one in BTC. There was no disclosure about this before buying. Or at least it was in very fine print. I'm now debating on asking for a refund or just rolling the dice that they won't turn my data over to unsavory people. I could pay a premium for one on ebay, but no guarantee they don't dox me either

Business are either fighting for you against the government or (more likely in today's world) they are fighting you in the name of government. Any KYC business is part of the matrix trying to kill you.
